Vendimia Noctura - White wine

Dear friends,

Today I will post a white wine I had the pleasure to taste in a wonderful place to eat called “Casa de Tapas” in the center of Valencia (Spain).

The wine is from the winery Phago de Tharsys, from the wine region Utiel – Requena, and its name is “Vendimia Nocturna”. It is done with the varieties Godello and Albariño, and this is quite peculiar as the Albariño is typical from Galicia but is not usually seen in other Spanish areas.

Regarding the wine it is very tasty with notes of pineapple and vanilla. It is a fresh wine and I tasted it with some starters served in the above mentioned restaurant but considering its characteristics I also recommend it for seafood or some meats.

Unfortunately I do not know the price and how difficult it is to find but if could find it purchase a bottle because I am sure you will enjoy it.
