Bruberry 2009 - Montsant

Hola a todos,

Hoy quiero postear un vino tinto de la zona del Montsant, se llama Bruberry concretamente la añada de 2009.

El vino, hecho con las variedades Garnacha, Cariñena y Syrah tiene un marcado tanino como corresponde a su tiempo de crianza. Asimismo tiene un intenso sabor, untuoso, con ligeras notas de regaliz.

Todas estas notas hacen que sea un vino para cualquier momento ya que no os va a cansar, no obstante, me gustaría recomendarlo especialmente para acompañar un buen plato de carne.

Por último, indicaros que hoy no voy a dar el precio del vino ya que la botella fue un regalo de una grandísima amiga a la que, por cierto, me gustaría dedicarle este post.

Bruberry 2009 - red wine

Dear All,

Today I will post a red wine from the region of Montsant. It is named Bruberry and the one I tasted is from the year 2009.

Made with the varieties Grenache, Carignan and Syrah this young wine has something but a great character. It has intense flavor with licorice notes and strong tannin.

Despite I consider that this young wine could fit at any moment as I am sure you will not get tired form it I dully suggest to taste this wine with a good meat dish.

Today I will not tell you the price of this wine as I received it as a gift for a very close friend to whom I would like to dedicate this post.

Casta Diva

Después de un tiempo sin postear vuelvo con un vino muy especial de la DO Alicante, el vino en cuestión y se llama Casta Diva de bodegas Gutiérrez de la Vega.

Bueno ahora ya estáis listos para seguir con el post, como habréis podido adivinar, sí el nombre del vino se refiere a esta aria de Bellini, magistralmente interpretada por Montserrat Caballé.

Para los que no sean amantes de la opera y con respecto al vino, decir que es un Moscatel seco con un increíble aroma afrutado, personalmente me recuerda a melocotones frescos.

Es un vino fantástico para tomar en cualquier situación, ya sea con entrantes, un plato de pescado, con alguna carne blanca poco elaborada o simplemente tomarse una copia muy fría mientras se disfruta de la voz de la gran Diva Montserrat Caballé.

En definitiva, el vino se puede encontrar relativamente fácil por internet y con un precio que ronda los 8 euros.

Casta Diva - White Wine

I come back to you after a long time without posting. Today I will post a white wine that I really love it is from the wine zone of Alicante an it is called Casta Diva.

As you could understand the name of the wine makes reference to the beautiful aria from the opera Norma from Bellini.

Well now we are ready to continue with the wine, as I said before it is a white wine made with the Muscat grape.

This grape is well known for its fruity flavor and the Casta Diva is not different in this particular, actually, it smells and tastes as fresh peaches.

I duly recommend this wine for any moment, just for taking a cup with friends, with fish or even with not too much prepared meats, or just while listening to the Great Diva Montserrat  Caballé singing.

Its price is around 8 euro and it is not so hard to find on the internet.
